Speak His Word Often
Malachi 3:16 Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who esteem His name. What do you suppose these people said to one another ? Something that caused the LORD to give attention ! As you might guess I believe it was a testimony. We are told again of the importance of the word of our testimony in Revelation .
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb,and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
A few more places that I wish you would take note of are :Revelation 1:9 I John who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patamos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.
Giving your testimony here is more than just a quick , I want to say thank-you God for what you have done for me .
In fact we may learn together what "the word of our testimony" really means.
I just wanted to start some where and it seemed right that a public acknowledgement would be the place to begin. However, I thought twice about putting my whole name out here because the word of my testimony is something special. If you cheapen it by giving glory to me for giving glory to God I do not know how to handle that right now. So I hope those of you who find this site will read with interest and then reflect on your own connection with God and ask, " do I have a word of testimony to give ?" You may also want to leave your name in a way that only you and God know who you are and I think that is quite alright. It is the word of our testimony, it is our fear of God, it is the esteeming of His name that I want to do. Not bring attention to myself and say, "Oh look what God has done for me." I want you to leave my site thinking about Him. I want you to be reflecting on Who He is , really. Although it is wonderful the many good things He does for me and my family .
Malachi 3:6 For I, the LORD do not change: therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. James 1:17 For every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.

The Joy
Joy comes from the inspired word of God.
Once revealed to the prophets . Then lived through Jesus.
He is the bread of life for me. As I eat of His word ,I draw nigh unto Him, as one would draw closer to one speaking so they could more clearly hear what was being said. He opens my ears , He opens my heart , to receive what the Holy Spirit would reveal to me how His words feed me today. This joy gives me strength to obey His word. Only He could give this joy !
