That This Is For His Glory

Testimonies inspire and encourage me. My daughter gave the most wonderful testimony I have ever heard. She said that when she was depressed she could hardly drag herself off of the couch. That as she lay there day after day and tried to get herself motivated to get up and do something and found she could not, her despair only greatened. When she decided that since she belonged to God and that she had been created for His Glory then if this was the best she could do, she would just believe that her laying there on the couch would be for His Glory.
As many of you know , this girl is never laying on the couch anymore. She is always up and living for His Glory.
How hard it is for me to remember , that how I am right now, this is where He has me , this is for His Glory.
I was out doing some stuff yesterday and had a couple of times when some health disorders seemed like they disrupted my day. It seemed like maybe I should have kept on doing what I was doing but had chosen to stop . My thoughts struggled with did I chose to do the right thing?
This morning I realized , this is for His Glory. This vessel right here, this is for His Glory ,but only if I let it alone and let what light I have be His Light and not my effort to push on , without Him. This is for His Glory that I am as well as I am, not totally healed , but much more healed than I was last year.
I thought of Samuel, who said, "Here am I Lord, Thy servant heareth." I thought of myself as a small child unable to do much , but willing to do whatever, He said do." Whatever you find yourself able to do today, remember, it is for His Glory !
